|but I have finally managed to finish my own airbrushed frame. I have decided to custom order a Viner U2 frame, built to my size(42cm c-c)with Blacktail(Deda) seatstay. I guess my Giant TCR will not be able to see the daylight now.
The headtube is actually harlequin paint. You can't quite see it from the picture but the colour changes when it is viewed at different angles. It changes from pinkish, gold and brown.
I just can't till I assemble the bike with Campy.
What do you people think?

|I'd be afraid to ride it.. how durable is the paint?|

|it is 2K Glasurit. In a nutshell, the same paint used on cars and motor bikes. Just like cars, you can get it scratched.|
|Is there a market for this sort of thing?||filtersweep|

|Obviously there is a ton of creativitiy and talent associated with this, but spending $1000+ for this sort of thing? I would remotely consider doing it to a stealth bike. I just can't see ever being able to resell one of these things.
This seems like it would be more at home on a BMX bike, or a low-rider...

|that "wet look" is damn sweet. not sure if i'd want it on one of my bikes, 'cause i kinda dig the whole "sleeper" look, but it's still pretty sweet. good job.|
