Metal matrix aluminum- good or bad?brerabbit

I just ordered a fuji team and a marseille for $1095. about half price of what the local shops want.

I liked the lightweight of the team- 16.8 pounds but my wife said my neighbor told her that the metal matrix rides harsh so she made me order the marseille for her.

Why she listens to him more than me makes me suspicious - ouch (just got smacked)

both bikes seem to have identical ultegra specs.
should I change my order?

It's all about how the frame was designed. Tube wall thickness, tube diameter, butting, tube shaping, etc. will have much more influence than frame material. Your neighbor may be right about the particular Fuji (not familiar with these particular bikes), but it is not the frame material.
