Did Lance really help George or not?HRH

I know Lance said he would race Paris-Ruebauix(spelling??) to help George H. But I just watched the video of that race and it seems Lance was no where to be found. Not in the breaks, attacks or chases. Was he helpful at all to George?

He was in Texas this year doing his "Ride for the Roses" the same day. He tried to help George in the other Classics he did ride this year though.

Lance didn't race Paris-Roubaix and specifically said he wouldn't because it was too dangerous.

Lance did race Milan-San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Ghent-Wevelgem, and Liege-Bastogne-Liege, all in the service of George. Did he help George? I think so, but who here could possibly answer that question?
I saw PB too....bent_spoke

The coverage had a British achor & he was not as Pro USPS team as you see at the TDF, so it's hard to tell who was there at times. I remember an interview with Lance & he says that George has all the tools to win, & just needs to make his own breaks and ride like a champion. George's fall did not help things, but with the Classics there are just too many variables. It's got to be tough to bust your butt & not get the pay off. (Tom Boonan rode exceptionally well there.)

Based on George's effort at TDF, he seems pretty committed to Lance, which would lead you to belive he appreciates Lances efforts.
