Is anyone doing this ride on aug 18th?. Officially it's a randonee (yeah!?!), but many will be racing. 14 of surrey's worst hills, should be a real knee-bender.

All the cycling weekly staff do it, so it gets a fair bit of coverage.

it starts and ends at shere, near guildford, is 111km long and has 2000metres of climbing. I've never ridden it before but apparently it's a hard ride as the climbs are steep. It generally turns into a race pretty quickly. Sound good?
