bikeswholesale and Iron Horse Victory/Intrepid questions...daneil

Anybody have any input on either the website or the bike? I e-mailed Iron Horse with a request for the geometries for the bike but haven't gotten a response yet. A reynolds 853 frame with full ultegra and cosmos wheels for $1100 sounds too good to be true. Thanks.

Some folks will turn up their nose at the Iron Horse name, but it got rock solid reviews in Bicycling mag, and you can't beat those specs for the price, I don't think.

How long ago did you email them? If they don't respond, skip the bike. That's a good indication of what kind of service you can expect from them. If they're not willing to take the time to give you the specs so they can possibly sell a bike, they probably won't be putting forth much effort when it comes time to fix any problems after the sale when they already have your money.

I actually called them using the customer service number on the website. They returned the call and faxed me information regarding frame geometry. I also sent an e-mail. It took a little longer but they did answer my questions. I wound up buying an Iron Horse Victory from BicycleBuys.com. That was only a few days ago. I hope to post a review after I've got a few miles on it but I don't see it listed in the 2002 bikes.

Anyway, seems like a pretty decent bike so far.
they responded in a matter of 2hours.great customer service.(nm)daneil
