Is anyone familiar with the Cinelli Supercorsa?
I am looking at a new one, frame is st 64cm and tt 59.5cm.
It is a size that is a very good match for me.
But the Cinelli frame/bike is hardly mentioned on this board or elsewhere.

This is a great classic, lugged steel frame that's been around a long time. It's only real downside is that it's heavier than the aluminum, carbon, ti frames that are popular now. It will probably ride nicer than 99% of the lighter frames around, though. If the size is right, I'd go for it. I considered buying a Supercorsa but ended up buying a steel lugged Gios from Excelsports because the fit was a little better for me and it was less expensive. I wouldn't hesitate buying a Supercorsa if the price was right. I have seen a few of these frames up close and the quality of finish and details are very nice.

Being a big believer in steel frames, I totally agree. You won't find a lot of discussion about classic frames like this on boards because they are not the newest, hottest materials or designs, but it is a standard that will serve you well for a long period of time. Unless you race or do alot of hill climbing and you weigh 160-170, a superlight bike is not necessary, and will usually not ride nearly as nice as the Cinelli. If the size is right, go for it.

A true classic. If you are not racing and aren't a weight weenie it's an excellent choice.
