| Another Fit Question | trout_bum Jul 29, 2002 3:22 PM | | So I wanna build up a shoestring racer for fast recreational riding-no racing, maybe some centuries or multi-day rides-sick of riding my MTB on the road(I live in NYC). I think I'm gonna go with an inexpensive De Bernardi Thron frame and I just want to get a second opinion on size. (which I realize is subjective)
I'm 5'10.5", wt-165 lbs, 33.375" inseam. The DeBernardi comes in a 55c-c/57c-t w/ 55 top tube. Does this size sound like it's in the ballpark for my size? Also will the 74 deg geometry make a huge difference over the long-haul than something slacker?
Thanks in advance - I appreciate your help, as I haven't had much luck with my LBSs. |
