Looking at getting a trainer in the upcoming months and don't know a thing about them. Not looking for the top of the line but, need something that will be dependable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated , thanks!

Check out Kreitler at www.kreitler.com. They have a lot of good info on rollers, which are a strong alternative to regular old trainers. I just bought a set of rollers, and they take a little getting used to, but I now prefer them. They also have extremely dependable products, great customer service, and a lifetime warranty.

Good luck...

Agreed. Their products are designed to last a lifetime. You will never need another trainer as long as you live.

Best of luck,
Ken

I have two Cyclops Fluid 2 trainers (one for the wife) and have had very good luck with them. The Kurt kinetic has also had great reviews as mentioned in a previous post.

Best case would be to have both rollers and a fluid trainer but I don't know too many people with that set up.

Sure they might not be the best, but if something breaks they will gladly give you a replacement with no questions asked.
