I'm a relative newbie and just got me a Cannondale R600 2003. So far I'm pleased, but I need some advice on the saddle position. How will different positions affect my performance in long/short runs? Are there any rule of thumb?

Thanks

Hey, Joe, fresh meat!! Haha. I'm a newbie also, so I can relate. I just bought a used C'dale myself. Sweet rides, eh? I've found Colorado Cyclist's website to be very helpful.

www.coloradocyclist.com ---> then head to the Resources page, then to Bike Fit. That should get you started. Then, all the advice here should land you in just the right spot.
