| Flight Deck -- wheel number selection? | PT Jul 29, 2002 7:48 AM | | I have incomplete instructions for a Shimano Flight Deck computer (SC-6501). I find that there are at least 4 "bicycle numbers", and I was hoping to have two different cassettes programmed in and then be able to select which "bicycle number" I wanted depending on the wheel/cassette I was riding. I'm quite sure I have the appropriate cassettes programmed in to "no. 1" and "no. 2". How do I tell the computer which of the cassettes (i.e. - "bicycle numbers") to pick when I head out for a ride?
Thanks!

| The insturctions are on page 4...but here they are | spookyload Jul 29, 2002 11:20 AM | | Put computer on display other than clock. Push switch B for 5 seconds. Bicycle number is displayed. Push switch A to change bicycle number. Press switch B for 2 seconds to set new bicycle number. This is a great computer, but their manual really does suck. Set up for this computer is a major undertaking in my opinion. Its only true weakness. |
| Thanks...but as I said... | PT Jul 29, 2002 11:41 AM | | ...I had incomplete instructions. The computer came on a used bike I bought and my instructions were largely verbal and whatever else I could figure out just popping away at buttons. But this ought to do it for me.
Thanks! |
