|What the hell you doing at 830 on Saturday night at the keyboard, why aren't you downtown playing?
These kind of things really draw people together. If it turns out well as I expect it to, that will be icing on the cake. America. The picture in the paper this morning had a picture of a beefy guy who was busy dealing with the broken drill - he was wearing a tank top with the words "the right to bare arms".... just another down and dirty american hero going beyond his job description in order to do something good...

|What a grim sitch that was! Trapped for 72+ hrs, 240 feet below ground, in the dark, in water... Talk about shrinkage...
After the first drill bit broke, and they lost 14+ hrs, I started to think it wasn't gonna happen. How much oxygen could these men have? I thought their time was running out.
It's amazing what the rescue people did! To drill in the right place was just amazing! The trapped men could have been anywhere within 1 sq mi from where they drilled.
It just shows how great the American spirit is!
