Well, tomorrow is finally almost here. The "black bear" century. A fun jaunt that is rolling with a couple of "thigh rippers". What is going to make it more fun? Weather.. Supposed to have thunderstorms in the morning then clearing to a high of around 90 with high humidity. Carbon fiber dosent conduct lightning, does it?
Zzzap!!! (yes, CF does conduct electricity)Tig

Hopefully the rain will delay the heat a little for you. 90+ with humidity bites, which is why I wait until September to ride a full 100.

Have fun, ride smart, eat and drink enough... and oh yeah, have more fun!

Good luck... I'd drink a lot of fluid. I'm guessing by the weather forecast that you're on the east coast... Where ya headed?

Just tell your riding buddy that you put that 3-foot metal rod on his helmet for aerodynamics. :)

The century is called the "black bear" its an organized event that goes from grayling, MI to oscoda MI. Lots of fun. I did it last year...
