|I have a question about saddle height. Colorado Cyclist states that your saddle height is 0.883 x inseam. When I do the math, I get 70.5 cm. Ok, now I know my saddle height. But, where do I measure from/to? From the floor to the bottom or top of the saddle? From the pedal axle to the top or bottom of the saddle? Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I bought a used C'dale R500, purple to blue fade, outfitted with Shimano 600 parts. Went on my first ride in at least 8 years this morning. I forgot how much fun it was. Thanks for your help.
Disclaimer: The measurements given herein are for my body. All bodies are different. Standards that work for the majority of cyclists may not work for each particular cyclist. YMMV. Yadda-yadda-yaadda. 8>)

|I believe that is from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of your seat.
As measured along the seat tube.
