You don't know what kind of threats she was made or how scared she was, She finaly had the courage to point out this sick bastard. I just hope he did not hurt anybody else.

I'm not defending Boyer, I hope it's not true for two reasons. The first and most obvious, I hope, is that I don't want that kind of thing to happen to any child, and the second being that I respected that guy while I was growing up.

A lot of people are accused of a lot of things that are not true. Lance is a doper right?
he IS guilty... sort ofcyclopathic

who's gonna believe of his innocence after this kind of publicity? would be nice to find details unfortunately article isn't very specific.

btw 853 I am not defending anyone, unless having doubts counts for it. I spoke to a guy while back who was dealing with sexual misconduct investigations and he said that 70-80% of all cases is just a way to get at someone.

Either way it is a loose/loose situation, very sad.
She's 16 years of age and this is a criminal caseKristin

She is legally entitled to identity protection. You won't get any more details about this. Her name will not be released and the news media can not publish her name or her face. Let the courts sort it out. That's why we have them.

"She finaly had the courage to point out this sick bastard. I just hope he did not hurt anybody else."

That seems stupid to me. The guy hasn't been convicted of anything yet. It's a serious accusation but people shouldn't rush to judgment.

Anyone remember waht happened in Salem, MA a few hundred years ago?

Point is none of us know anything more than some second hand stuff that appeared in a newspaper. All we know for sure is that he's been charged. We don't know what actually happened or what's behind the story. What if he was seeing her mother, broke it off and she's just trying to get back at him by using her daughter? On the other hand there are some very sick people in our society, but one of the things that makes our nation great is our justice system, as imperfect as it is, and the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

Like pointed out above - do not rush to judgement - imagine yourself or someone you know being falsely accused of something awful.

Back in my young and stupid days(before cycling), my friends and I got into trouble in little Santa Cruz, Ca. Well let me tell you, the damm local paper twists the stories around and makes it seem way worse than it is, but it sells more papers for them. Since my olden days, I have learned to pass judgement later than sooner. If he happens to be innocent, his name is still destroyed and I think thats bullsh@t. People will hear his name and the thought of this will always come up.
On the other hand if he's guilty................
