Hi,
I'm curious how shipping works. The parcel service to ship a frame is $30, but will there be any more additonal charges?

Thanks
duties...C-40

Frames will be charged 3.9% duty. The duty is paid when you get the frame, or it will be billed later, depending on the carrier.

DHL billed me later for the duty. On a C-40 I was charged 3.9% of $1900 (the declared value, not what I paid) or $74.10.

With DHL, you must be at home when the package is delivered. If no one is available to accept the package they will leave a notice of attempted delivery. I tracked my shipment and called ahead to have the package held at the DHL facility for me to pickup.

I assume that you are looking at totalcycling.com. That's the only place that only charges $30 to ship a frame. Others have reported shipping charges as high as $180 from Maestro.
