Teflon coated or stainless steel chain?paulw

Colorado Cyclist has both of these (at a rather spendy $40 each). Does anyone have any experience with either? The stainless seems like a good idea whereas the teflon seems like it will be nice at first but not last.
Why is this a good idea?klay

What are the benfits of a stainless steel or teflon coated chain over a "traditional" one?

Stainless steel (depending on the specific alloy) can be tough and so is a good chain material. Teflon coating (or even impregnation) would probably wear out in a couple of weeks - it's a marketing gimmick. With a Campy Record 9 at $20, $40 for a chain seems a bit steep.
