my trusty-'ol 18-year-old cruiser was permanently 'borrowed' from the neighborhood park (bound to happen sooner or later; hasnt been locked in about 10 years).

anyway, being the poor guy i am, I simply converted my wifes unused mtn bike into my current neighbohood cruiser. Stripped the gears, and added priest bars and a springy-seat, so I'm back in action.

The only thing I'm missing for my after-dinner ride is the VERY important beer-holder thingy.

All the LBS's say :'ohhhhh yeahhh, i remember them. Havent seen them in 10 years'.

Cant find them online.

anyone?

try a diamondback dealer. i worked at a LBS that carried diamondback and their deluxe crusiers had the beer holders.

if you do find them, they are likely to be sized for threaded one-inch steerers. i put one on a one-inch threadless but had to grind down the tab.

good luck.
