Quick poll for everyone, strong opinions welcome. What is the best pedal out there with small float? (i.e., pedals beside Speedplay) Please give reasons why. Thanks
(donning my firesuit..) anyone else use Performance..IAmtnbikr

Forte Pro Mg Ti's? They are an SPD pedal, and only weigh ( the weight weenie in me showing here! ) 200 grams with their ti axle and mag body. Price of $90 is not too bad either. They have 4 degrees of float, which is ok for me, even after using Time ATAC pedals on my commuter, MTB, and yes, previously the roadbike. I wanted to drop some weight, and increase clearance also, and feel for $90 it was a decent choice. Anyone else using them? If so, how do you like them?

Best is a matter of preference. Most guys (and gals) use the pedal system they feel most comfortable with. It depends on what you like. I prefer Looks due to the wide platform and ease of entry and unclipping. I also use Looks on both my bikes so I can use the same shoes. I've used Times in the past but they are too expensive for my taste..
