I went out and did 41 miles with a deceptively tough climb about 25 miles into it. I went up it really flying (for me), rarely dropping below 12mph, when I get to the 2nd top of this climb (you go for a while, decend briefly, then have a steep 1/2 mile climb to finish), when I just "popped", as Phil and Paul would say, down to 6-8 mph! Fortunately I recovered fairly well and got home in good form.

Bill Patrick is clueless to say the least. He speaks terrible Americano. Bill should have been pushed off the top of the Ventoux on his old Schwinn while wearing a greasy T-shirt....

Watching some golf the other day, and the announcer was speaking of Sergio Garcia in this fashion:

"I don't know what he's thinking right now, but you can bet it's in Spanish!"

We just cracked up, and it has become a running joke around the house.
