Polar S710 Sensor on Look HSC 4 fork. need help.S-U-B

I have the polar s710 computer/hrm and I can't get the sensor to fit on the look HSC 4 fork. It seems to work at first, then as I ride, it goes on and off. I know everything else works fine. I can install everything on my other bike and it works fine, no problems at all. It seems that the shape of the fork does not let the sensor fit snugly. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem would be appriciated. I tried wrapping the fork with extra pads/tape etc and no luck. Thanks in advance.

I have a Polar S510 on a Pinarello Vela Carbon fork and it also goes highly annoying especially when you use auto start. I haven yet been able to figure out what causes this and its really pissin me off.... if you figure it out let me know. I'll do the same.

that is exactly what mine does, on-off-on-off, hope someone else has an answer.

I have experimented with different positions on the fork, closer to the magnet, farther away, different angles, etc. NOthing really helps. I finally turned off the auto-start because it was totally annoying me with the on/off beep. Now its silent and I dont notice everytime it stops and starts.

I have a similiar problem with my S710. Right now I have used double stick tape to keep it from sliding away from the wheel. The unit still loses the signal about every ten minutes and spikes down in the chart. Customer support at Polar says they can turn up the power on the sending unit but I have to send everything back.
