suggestions from this board have pursuaded me to get a caad5--I was wondering how people find them fit. I ride a 59c-c look (great frame, but too many miles on it now for racing). Does anyone happen to know how much the center to top adds on the cannondale--they seem to have long top tubes, so wondering if the smaller 59 cannondale might be better.

THanks,

I measured my Caad5 top tube to be about 1 7/15 inches in diameter which would be about 1.8cm. It would appear the your Look 59cm c-c would be closer to a 60cm Caad5 c-t, as Cannondale doesn't make a 61cm frame, just a 63cm. I hope this helps.

Measure the C-C of your Top Tube of your current Look frame and get the same size Cannondale, always go by your top tube measurments, that way you can reuse your stem and everything else, remember if the seat tube is shorter all you have to do is pull out your seatpost a cm or two.

This is only if you feel that the reach of your Look is Ideal and you feel comftorbale like this.
