|does it seem to anyone else that the sprinters at the tour are mashing huge gears with relatively low cadence? When Zabel came around his lead out man a few days ago it looked like he was barely turning over his gear--if his lead out man was doing 60+ km/h, Zabel must have been in a huge gear--anyone know what gears they use? must be more than 53x11?|

|Brad McGee won his stage the other day in a 54x11. I don't know if you saw that one, but it was uphill at the end! Supposedly someone "forgot" to take off the 54 from the team time trial the day before. (That stage will forever be known as the one where Lance lost time.)
Usually it's a 53x11, but Tom Steels talked about winning a stage with a 53x12 once. Everyone else was in a 53x11, and for some reason he chose a 53x12 and won.

|Horillo had the lead by quite a bit and Mr. Mcgee turned on the motor and came up on him sooo fast with about 20 feet to go.
Horillo put his hands out wide and said what da f!
