I got a fosters 10speed link installed on my 10speed chain and sometimes it grinds as it goes over the casette. The chain, cassette, and chainrings are all new. I'm going to try a connex link and see if it's any better. Are there any other possible solutions I could be missing? To put the cassette(10speed) on you just make sure the cogs are all facing the right way and tighten the hell out of the lock ring right?

Yes.

I'm on my second Craig Superlink III. The first one lasted about 1000 miles before a hiccup. #2 is fine now...If this one goes, I'm buying a wipperman or connex.
I'm on maybe 300 miles nmishmael

I put a little over 2k with a Wipperman chain. No problems and no chain stretch I just did not want to push my luck. I've got about 500 on a Connex with a Campy chain and no problems.

300 miles is all I could manage out of the Forsters before the clicking & roughness started. Same mileage with the 2nd one. I am over 800 with a Connex with no problems.
