I found this post over on MTBR.com pretty funnyPhatMatt

I have a post on MTBR.com and was checking it and came across this. IT is kind of funny.
"Man, Igor is yeller. Tour de Lance related"
Was watching OLN's coverage of the tour and couldn't get over how yellow Igor's getup is. Yellow jersey, shorts, shoes, socks, helmet, bike. Man, no motorist could miss him, or a roadie impersonator, in that gear. What they gotta go through to be pros. Did anyone notice how obsessed with Igor's arse the videographer tailing Igor was. Every video-bite seemed to focus right up there. Anyway, a day spent with my 3-year-old twin boys, including a doctor's visit, compelled me to post this senseless post. My boys wear me out.
Postin' for the heluvit.

Or even understand what the yellow jersey stands for. It didn't realize their were other jerseys until two years ago. That does not make me any less of a cyclist. To most MT Bikers, all of those colors is just crazy and ugly. Why flame the guy for expressing his opinion. Did you flame him on MTBR.com?
Matt's post didn't strike me as a flame at all. LightenRhodyRider

Just having a bad day at work and feeling a little defensive. Being a MT Biker myself, thought it was an attack. I was wrong.

re: Iyou mised the mtb point....pa rider
Jul 16, 2002 9:26 AM
He was refering to yesterday's time trial. The guy who was racing after Lance was dress in a yellow suit. This was shoes, shirt helmet and shorts. I believe it was an ONCE rider, but I wasn't paying too much attention at the time. He came in 10 seconds behind Lance.

Just a FYI. Not everybody watching OLN knows what time
trial races are like.

when the photoghrapher focus in his arse for about a minute. But on the other hand there is not much more to photograph if you have to say behind.

Yeah those ass shots were mildly annoying, but almost preferable to the drive-side shots tight on the chainline,
fast cadence on the flats, 53/12, a blinding pain shoots through my legs...
Same thought here.Chen2

I can't even imagine a 54 or 55 tooth chain ring.
obsessed with JaJalnin0

I think the camera men was more obsessed with JaJa than with Igor's butt. JaJa was doing a horrible TT and realistically has no chance of a top GC finish yet they followed him from start to finish. Even panning once to the motorbike driver's helmet to see his JaJa tribute.

The French love themselves indeed but do they not realize after the Giro that Tylor is the real LEADER.

Two other things of note about helmets.

-Notice Botero rode without a helmet let alone the special aerodynamic model Lance has. Kind of makes you question all the money some teams spend on this stuff to shave a second off their time.

-Also why didn't JaJa toss that helmet to the side of the road? Obviously the 5-10 seconds gain it provided was probably all lost by him having to mess with it and be uncomfortable the entire ride.
