want to purchase set of mavice ksyriums from Expedia.co.uk and they want $558 which includes shipping fee. Does anyone know if there are any hidden tariffs, taxes, fees into the states? thanks much

i bought mine from totalcycling, and everything was fine. No hidden charges. arrived very fast. ive got another package from total waiting for me at the post office. Not sure about expedia though, ive never dealt with them.

It depends how they ship. I purchased some things from Parker INT. and got taxed. I then purchased things from ICC and never got taxed? Who knows, maybe it's what they mark down on the little green customs tag on the outside of the package. Hey, I bet Malcolm over at ICC could give you a better deal and they really package things well so that they don't get busted up on the long trip. Give them a shot. E-mail them at

Some euro mail order shops don't include VAT in their web pricing, especially the sites that do the conversion to US dollars. Vat is a tax that we can't be charged. So make sure you really compare. English pounds to the dollar divide by .7. To figure something that VAT will be taken off of and converted to the dollar, divide by .8226. Hope this helps.

be prepared to pay duty, but it depends whether or not customs decides to charge you or not.
