I've been having knee trouble lately. It seems like it's when I'm pushing hard. It is in my right knee and occurs when my right foot is on the forward/downward part of the pedaling. I'm using speedplay pedals and the bike is a softride. I have no trouble whatsoever out of my left knee. Any ideas on how to fix this? Is it possible that its not a "bike fit" problem. It rarely gives me any trouble when running.
thanks,
Hayden

It could be your foot is not aligned properly on the cleat. It's either pigeon toed or duck toed, if you know what I mean. Oftentimes only a slight variation can cause pain in the knee as it operates in an eccentric motion.

That's the first to check, at a bike shop if necessary. If that's not it, the pedal spindle or crank arm could be bent.
