Anyone use the CH Aero wheel cover?eciofi18

Has anyone tried this from excel sports? I was wondering how well it worked, how easy it is to install, and if there's a cut out for the valve of the tire so you can replace a flat without taking off the cover.

FWIW, The CHAero cover is not the same as a disc wheel for a couple of reasons:
1. It bulges at the hub so that it can cover the spokes. True disc wheels gain some of their aerodynamics because they are flat.
2. You are adding a good bit of weight to your rear wheel. While a disc is heavier than your average wheel, your average wheel + CHAero cover > disc.

I'm not sure about there being an opening for the valve...but I would be concerned about the plastic clips that hold the cover on the wheels. If I were you, I'd save the dough and get a Renn disc. They are only about 300. If you do decide to go with the cover, let us know how it works out
