But you beat me to it...

Glad I didn't post it first because others would find my sense of humor "silly."

(So, I didn't post this and if you are reading this it is just a figment of your imagination.)

P.S. JS Haiku --that is really cool!

it took less than 5 business days, but those were quite traumatic days, so i've blocked them out of memory. the fact that he had to assemble the bike and pack it added to the wait. his turnaround was 7-10 days from the time he received my final payment to the time he handed the boxed bike over to mister brown shorts. so, i'd say 10 calendar days from his receipt of payment, plus 5 business days. it was most likely a day or two less.

on the bianchi i bought from him last year, i decided to ask him for an update on shipping, and actually received it the next day! it all depends on his workload. that is, unless he's closed.

ps. i wrecked the merckx in to a ditch and tweaked my knee and shoulder about a week ago. it was a pretty dramatic-looking accident, or so i'm told, and found me following another guy right off the road around a 90-degree right-hander (at 30 mph, of course). i'm still limping and have a sprained shoulder, but the bike came through with only the front wheel out of true, which i've since rectified. she's a tank!
cool thx. i guess the merckx is now "blooded"Spirito

glad to hear you are relatively OK. sounds gnarly, as going off the road on a right hander i would imagine you crossed the oncomming lane if you were at speed. if thats the case then in a way you are lucky. ouch !!

take it easy on them right handers, bro.
