Cycle Sport is giving away a free video with subscriptions & I need some help deciding. I haven't seen any of these & dont know which would be the most exciting. I do quite like Paris-Roubaix.

Tough choice. Glad I don't have to make it....Cima Coppi

Personally, I'm partial to the Giro, so the '96 Giro would be my choice. I like Tonkov, and that was a great victory for him.

Also, I would not mind owning the '96 TdF to see Riis knock out Mig.

Interesting they are not offering the '93 World Road Champs., but I guess with the popularity of Armstrong, they wouldn't want to give it away. Incidentally, I own this video, and I think its one for every collection. What a race it was!!

Good luck,

CC

... considering it was the end of the Indurain reign (his last TdF win), the loss of Fabio Casartelli (Team Motorola), Lance Armstrong's stage win dedicated to the memory of Casartelli (Team Motorola)... and Lance's subsequent dominance of the TdF (especially after overcoming cancer)... oooops, did I give away too much??!!??

We abide.

The muddiest ever.
Muddy it is but it is also boring.Sintesi

Tchmil gets away in the last 40 -50 kilometers and no one ever comes close. The commentary is canned, not actual race coverage, so that takes a bit of the excitement away. nice win for Andrei but ultimately a boring video. I never watch it.

You get to see Sean Kelly win his last classic with an astounding pursuit down the Poggio. You also see a young Lance Armstrong make an incredibly bad tactical move.

I have a bunch of these giros and tdfs, and would suggest the '95 or '96 giro (excellent, both), or the '96 tdf (riis kicks arse in a big way). the '96 tour earned one of two posters i was allowed (petitioned the wife) to hang in the house: one lance, one bjarne.
