resize or crop it in paint or a photoshop type program.

... directly from your hard drive (judging from your link properties)...

You need to post the picture on a web based photo site first, then link from that. is an example... as well as RBR's won gallery site... there are several others.

Try something like this. I shrunk down the original JPEG
from 1152x870 to something much smaller and then did an
edit from the 16.8 million original to a 256 color version
for web usage.

It's my new bike. Not a Colnago but it's mine and I love it.

I am confused. I can see it posted. Can you not see it posted?

Maybe the picture is hosted on your own PC, or on a server that isn't open to the rest of the internet. That would explain you being able to view it, but none us being able to see it.

indicate a link off your hard drive..

Aliensporbomb has linked from...

the "http" designation indicates a web source. Your "file:///c:" indicates your own hard drive.

you see it posted because it links to a file that's already on your hard drive. the rest of us don't have that picture on our hard drives, so we can't see it.

on the page where you post your reply, look for the link for "posting an image from your hard drive" and click it. this will open a window to an image hosting site used by roadbike review, and you can post your image to that site. then you will be prompted to cut and paste the address to that link into the box on the reply page. then we should be able to see your bike.

The reason is your pointing the upload software to a *shortcut* on your computer & not the actual photo
