ANd I wont to thanks all of you for all the information I have ever read here. My wife and I were driving around on my motorcycle last night looking at some newly landscaped yards. (trying to get ideas for ours) Ans all of a sudden we heard that bark and a ringeling of teh colar. The Dog "boxer" came running at us at a pretty good clip. My wife screamed and jumped. I told her to relax and jsut kep creeping along. at the edge of the propertiy he stopped looked at us and went back to what ever it was he was doing. After that the wife was how did you know what to do. So i explained. I guess I need to put a water bottle cage on my bike to cary teh icecold dog water now.

This is the usual scenario that plays out when my wife and I are out on the motorcycles: I am leading down some windy/twisty road on the ZX12R, dog runs out to chase me, totally focused on me, wife on her ZX6R following behind me almost hits the dog when it runs out in front of her. Thank God she has never hit one, she would probably go down.

Glad your dog encounter turned out positive.
