|Velocity makes most of their rims powdercoated now and mavic's cxp33 rims only come in red, black or silver. I am looking for blue anodized aero type rims. Any help is appreciated...|

|but they come in blue.
FIR Zenith (formerly known as SC170's) - similar in profile to open pro's by mavic. for my money its the best all round clincher rim that just happens to be italian but its hard to find sometimes.
most aero rims like the cxp33 and the aerohead by velocity dont really offer much of an aero advantage unless your average speed is pretty high and your spoke count is low. in the real world i just dont buy the claims. im sure many would disagree but im a non-beleiver.

|The aero rims would show more blue. I just think they look better, I'm not worried about the aero benefits.|

|Why don't you send out silver rims, cranks, brake and levers, seatpost and stem and have them powdercoated blue? They would look great on a chrome fixie.|

|it might be tough to find though.
ive never had a par of aeroheads but a lot of people have good things to report.
tron if im not mistaken.... the guy on the link below has them in blue and would build a set on hubs of your choice for reasonable money. he's only a small shop but has a good rep although he's a little slow in his correspondance (maybe call him). i think he's in FL
