excel sports catalog: anybody notice the poor editing?JS Haiku Shop

wow, i love to look at mail order catalogs and compare prices between 'em...and drool...almost more than i enjoy reading cyclesport (grin). but, has anyone noticed the grammatical and spelling errors, and discrepancies in price and description of many items throughout the catalog? this isn't just the latest one, either.

not that it curbs my reading enjoyment, but it's amazing that they are so far-reaching, yet so poorly proofread.
Yes, we used to get a hoot out of the Chipollini references (nm)TJeanloz

also, i think Performance is selling Rudy Ekynox. There is a pic of Ulrich wearing Tayos but they say "Ulrich wearing Ekynox." they are clueless over at performance.

whatever

the you know who

How about Performance's Michelin "deal?"

On the back page of their last two catalogs, they offer the Michelin Axial SuperComps at $24.99 each, not a bad price. But they offer "Buy 3!" for only $89.99! For the mathematically challenged, that's $30.00 per tire. Anybody want to buy 3?
same with ExcelColnagoFE

Ever notice the "Complete bike special price" is usually just what the frame/fork and build kit cost anyway? Not really that special.
