Hi has anyone here ridden both?
How do they compare?
Thanks

I should also add the prices......
I can get the KG241 for $471
& the KG361 for $900

That makes the 241 about half the price.
I know it is the Import model but I have heard only
good things here about it.

So mainly I am curious about the ride qualities & how much they differ.

Thanks

I have 241 that has over 7000 miles. It's a very forgiving frame that is stiff enough for me. I've only ridden a 361 around the block so I can't really compare the two. I don't think you'll be disappointed in the 241.

question on 241 sizeflying

Thanks for the responses
I have one last Q on size ;-)

I am undecided here.......
I now ride a 55 c-t Colnago it has the 74 degree seat tbe
& a 54.3 TT headstube is 134mm just for info. I have 3cm of stack washers to get my bars to 3 1/2" height diff
( below ) my seat using a 100 stem.

I have a 83cm inseam using standard book between the legs routine of measure.

So I am undecided between a 53 c-c Look 241 & a 55 c-c because the 53 has a 53.8 TT & the 55 has a 55.6. Due to the slacker seat tube angle 72.5 i thought I would have to add a bit of TT. Also I notice the headtube length is 139 vs 131

I am thinking the 139 would get me closer to a zero stack or at least less than the 3 I have now with a 134.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd say a 55 if you have enough standover. Your are correct, your effective TT length is shorter with the slack seat tube angles. The 55.6TT on the 55 is probably closer to your Colnago.

Thanks Dave!
That is what I thought too.
Well then that opens up the selection to both the
all black or the Kelme ;-)
The 53 was only in Black.

Thanks again

Not that it matters too much, but the 241 is an older model. I think it is from 2000 or 2001 but in essence it is a very similar frame. I wouldn't say that there was $430 in improvements between them.

I rode the 361 and it seemed a little flexy when I was out of the saddle. Of course I am 6'3" and 215lbs. But it was a very comfortable ride. I bought the 381i for the added stiffness.
