planning on starting at 6 if possible. weather is always better in the AM...did you ride last year? lots of rain near the end around copper. i think it was 7-8 hours on the bike for me last year. i wasn't in that great of shape and pretty much slogged through it. for me the worst part of the ride is the stretch to georgetown on 1-70...boring and a steep hill that doesn't look steep. after you get to loveland pass it gets a bit more scenic.
Early start...jtolleson

was gimped up last year (the final of the many post-crash surgeries) but two years ago hail on Vail Pass. An EARLY start is absolutely in order. Not just because of afternoon t-storms but also hoping not to bake on the I-70 stretch.

The injury lay off took a toll on my fitness from which I really haven't fully recovered, so I'm a little worried...

I'll be on the blue and green Axiom... may see you all.
No, you'll pass memoneyman

I will be there, for my second time. Last year on the way up Loveland Pass, I thought "This is TOO hard." As I finished in Avon, I immediately made plans to do it again.

I have a yellow Trek 5500 and will be wearing a yellow and red Lance Arsmtrong Foundation jersey. I am pretty sure I'll be the only one in that combo. If in doubt, look for the pearl and pink Telekom Adidas shoes. Have a great ride.

Early start is absolutely required after the cold and rain of vail pass last year. I didn't want to do it last year but at the finish I was already planning on doing it again this year and attempting to pick up the pace.

I'll be on a Fondriest Carb Level with Lampre colors. I'll be riding with a pack of Red Rocks Velo guys, I'll be hard to pick out because most the team rides Fondriests.

I think we're planning on making it a slow cattle day.

I opted not to do the Triple Bypass this year to be fresh for the Horgan HC. Of course I've done the TB twice now and have never done Horgan.

You gonna be at Horgan on Sunday?
