| Please recommend a shoe cover for wet weather riding... | maximum15 Jul 10, 2002 9:00 AM | | I have just started commuting and already know I need some sort of shoe cover for those days I will have to ride home in the rain. A quick check of Excel Sports shows there are many to choose from. If anyone can recommend or criticize any of the available choices, I would appreciate the input. I am in Florida, so I don't need warmth, just dryness. I probably should spend some time asking the LBS what they would recommend, but feel the comments here would be less biased. Thanks in advance, Ken. |

The only hitch is you need a rubber gasket, something like kayakers use to seal around the leg and cover the top of the sock. This is the only thing I have ever found that will keep your socks absolutely dry. |
