|now i quite like LOOK bikes and consider them with more stylistic merit than most all others. whilst looking for bike candy on the cyclingnews.com site i was so dissapointed by the lot of current T-day-F team bikes.
i can honestly say that there isnt one that i really drool for. in particular the look time trial bike is such a major horror-show that it should be banned.
a bicycle by nature should be a svelte and elegant machine. simplicity of line and with minimal fuss make it transpire from a tool to an object with soul that can be desired.
if progress means tacky, fussy, out of porportion billboards that go fast then ill become even more retro-grouchy, be slower but still just gaze with pride at what is considered outdated.
MTB's have an excuse - road bikes should be sexy and pure of line. when i see "things" like the look tt bike im more inclined to think riding a bus is sexier.

|That's one of the coolest looking bikes I've seen in a long while. This coming from a guy who owns a lugged, standard tubed steel bike w/ a chrome fork. The Look looks fast and innovative in design. I do not concur, no sir.|

|ill stick to my steel frame, rangefinder camera, adidas originals, levi's, original vw beetle, chicks with real ones and vanilla ice cream.
simplicity, truth and goodness was raskalnikov's by-words .... mine too.
i still feel bikes should be beautiful and have appeal. a good designer should understand this as well and be able to produce somthing that is both perfect for the purpose and pretty as well. the look road bikes that the credit agricole team use are very nice.
perhaps im just an old fashioned kinda guy but if im gonna throw my leg over something i prefer it to look good.

|Because he flew his Look TT machine into a fence at the Giro. They seem awfly twitchy. I couldn't believe reading that JaJa switched to Tyler's P3 as a race-day last-second decision... I thought they were so specialized, picky, etc....|

|Maybe I have bad taste, but I like it. I find the rotating joint for the fork to be particularly interesting. The black one does look better, but then it also is pictured in this thread with bitchin' wheels whereas the CA bike has pretty normal wheels. Like them or not, snazzy wheels make a bike look better.
Mind you, these are TT bikes and they are the fringe of technology. I like how they push the standards.
