|I'm planning on some endurance soloing this year (off road and on)and so am planning on buying some high end bibs. The choices are Assos Campionissimo bibs or Castelli Progetto Y2 bibs. If you were going to put 100 miles in, which would you prefer to put between the saddle and your nether regions.|

|I have ridden several centuries while wearing Assos shorts -- I recommend them highly. I have not tried the Castelli shorts, so I can't compare them. But, you can't go wrong with the Assos shorts.|
|ditto. I do want to try the Castelli's -- I understand that||bill|

|there is a little less bulk to the chamois with no loss in comfort, but I can't imagine anything more comfortable than the Assos. They feel as if you are wearing nothing at all but they still cushion you nicely. Pretty amazing, actually.|

|the Race Across Oregon, so on and so on. I did a ride last year that was 262 miles in 1 day and changed shorts 4 times. This year the team I am on go Castelli clothes and when I did the same ride I never thought about changing shorts. I have not tried the Assos but the Castelli shorts I have are above and beyond anything I have ever tried.
Best of Luck,

|I have maybe 8 to 10 pair of shorts. Some are better than others for me. Nonetheless, most any will be just fine if you slather them up with some Chamois Butt'r before you ride. Use plenty.
