First century of my life. 104 miles. I didn't feel like doing the regular 4th of july stuff so I took a gander at a map and hopped on the steamroller to try to break the century mark. perfect weather, 95 and humid. A mix of variably maintained country roads/4 lane highway and some lakeshore riding mixed in. no flats and no mechanicals(its a fixie, whats to go wrong) Had a bit of a headwind on the return but all around it couldn't have been better. It was a great ride. Had some veggie brats on the grill and a cold drink waiting for me when I got back. skipped the local fireworks in favor of a nap in a deck chair. one of the best "4th's" in recent memory.

Conrats!!! I think you get a special medal for a fixed gear century. Or maybe 'they' let you in on the *super* secret handshake.
I'm impressed! Roll on!
