It sounds like Jan needs psychological help. He clearly is on a self destructive binge.

for driving under the influence several weeks back. I think the poster may be commenting on the two incidents together.

At least someone had the guts to stand up and take responsibility for their actions instead of blaming it on their dog/dentist/great aunt. I hope he can get his act together.
Wish him the bestMe Dot Org

Sometimes success comes very easily when you are young. Jan had it all at a relatively early age. He is a great cyclist, but now comes the time where he must test his character.

I wish him the best and hope he gets it sorted out...
Amen, he is a great talent and he is at ...Djudd

Good Luck Jan
Armstrong praised Jan's responsibilityTig

"I watched the press conference on TV this morning and I thought he was incredibly brave and honest," said the American.

"I thought he accepted responsibility for what he did. He was a man, he said it was a stupid mistake but he acted like real gentleman."

Stand up move to take responsibility though... Still sad to see such a talent self-destruct.

After last year, being in the best shape of his career and seeing Armstrong dance away no matter how much he attacked...

I think that broke him - he has lost his drive for cycling and now appears to be catching up with some of the youth he lost. Remember, while you where in college doing dumb things this guy was riding night and day and winning championships.

Hope he comes back but at this point I am afraid we won't hear much about him until his later years when he perhaps has a rebirth like JarJar.
