|Recently whilst riding a century & a quarter, my toes in both feet became numb. Towards the end of the ride it was rather painful. I loosened my shoes but it didn't make that much difference.
What can done?

|Experiment with leaving the strap that goes across your toes a bit looser. Don't wait until numbness starts.
Also look at using a 3/4 length insole to allow some additional wiggle room for your toes.
Also use thinner socks.
What shoes/cleats are you currently riding in?

|The shoes that I'm using are 3 years old Sidi Genius 3 & Look cleats. The new shoes will also be .5 size larger just incase.
What I don't understand is why all of a sudden?
Thinking of purchasing Sidi Energy 2, along with Look CX7 pedals

|I've been struggling with the numb feet problem also (spent a fortune on shoes! )I've found that moving the cleats back on my shoes a bit ( i.e. toes more forward on the pedal axle), has helped some. It can also help to unclip one foot and let it hang a minute to restore circulation. Anyhow, good luck.|| |
