Quick question- how much if any adjustment do I need in my rear der going from a 12-25 to a 11-23 rear cassette? (all Campy record equip) Thanks in advance.

I put the 11-23 on an aero wheel set, a bit heavier than my stock wheel set, for doing flats. The chain jumps and skips on the 11 gear. Any thoughts?

If you change wheels, all bets are off although I've had real good luck swaping wheels that have Shimano freehub bodies. I've built several sets of mountain bike wheels for customers who wanted to have a spare set shod with slick tires. Havn't had to do any derailleur adjustments with any of them.

Different wheels, however, especially from different manufacturers may throw the indexing off a bit. Even a thicker than stock lock nut will change the spacing.

Your problem might be due to that or it could be caused by chain and cog incompatability.
