Are they strong for daily use? Can I compare them to Mavic

I'm 6'2" 185lbs. and the wheels are true after 2500 mi. They are comfortable and have little lateral flex. For climbing I prefer my Velomax Orion wheelset. The Nucleon/Neutron wheels are a little more heavy duty. One thing about Campy wheels, if you use any tire with a tight bead like Axial pros it's a bitch getting the tire on and off. Do yourself a favor and get a pair of the extra wide Park Tool tire levers to pack on the road, they will be less apt to break. Wetting the tire bead with spit really helps when your getting the last bit of the tire on the rim. Good luck

I have a set of 2002 Neutrons and 2001 Ksyrium's. I like the Neutrons better as they're lighter (the 2002 Ksyrium SL's are probably more comparable) and have a livelier ride (read not as stiff vertically) than the Ksyrium's. Both have proven to be strong enough for daily use. If it's cost, I'd look at the Proton's rather than the Elites as IMHO they are better value.

I have a pair of Nucleons. I really like them better than all my other wheels. They are a much better all around wheel than Kyseriums. They are lighter and as an above poster said, they are livlier. They are fully bulletproof. They are also much cheaper than Kyseriums. Recently, they were being offered somewhere on the internet for $299 for a brand new pair of tubulars. Indeed one of the best deals I have ever seen.
