Mine keeps coming loose. I replaced one, and the second one came loose after a month. I tightened it again, and it came loose again. Is this a common problem? How good are Lemond/Trek with warranty stuff? I'm taking it back to the shop to have it sent back.

The BB is not a Lemond/Trek product, it's just a cheap Shimano part. If you torqued it to spec., it shouldn't come loose. Try some blue locktite, applied sparingly to the threads as a last resort.

I'll suggest this when I take it in, but the Pedro's wrench was concerned that something was up with the frame, like it was slightly oversized or something. I don't look forward to sending it back...

Once the BB comes significantly loose it'll start moving around and grind up the BB threads in the shell. This is really really bad, but takes some time to get to this point. I'd get on it with the shop guys so that you get good warranty service if it comes to that instead of the "Sorry dude."

Torquing the BB to spec (50 - 70 Nm) and using teflon tape can pretty much eliminate the typical problems, but if your BB is hosed to start with it won't really help.
