Apparently, this is one of the project frames (like the Cielo which went into production), but it looks like the "lugs" are polished and the tubes are brushed. Looks pretty cool to me, but I wonder what are the benefits to such a construction method. Would this frame be any "better" (stiffer, more compliant, etc.) than an Extralight?

Probably the same as a steel TIG vs lugged frame - no real effect on performance (putting on my flame retardant suit) but sure looks pretty......
They have a carbon tubed version with the same lugs (nm)brider
