does anyone know anything about this frame? I know its made for Jenson USA but thats about it... Is it similar to the El Diente or is it more likened to El Crappola? I need a new frame but need to pay the bills also so a new Seven is definitely out.

By looking at the specs, it looks like a pretty nice frame to me. Check out the deanusa site to compare the El Diente to the El Vado, they have a nice comparison table. For another low cost Ti frame checkout titaniumsports.com.

Good luck.

Have you received it yet? If so, what do you think and do you have photos? After all the discussions before you bought it, we'd love to see it.

...Of course, I'm still delinquent posting photos of my Culebra.

I got hit by a car on my maiden voyage with the bike. I got in about 5 miles or so before a kid in a Honda pulled out in front of me. I nailed his right front fender and flew over the hood. The kid got at ticket.

I'm working with the insurance company on getting it replaced.

Some luck, huh?

....my bike is the twin of this one. Same color and parts pick - my wheels were Open Pro's with Chorus hubs. (By they way, this bike belongs to John, the dude at Dean who takes the orders and works with customers. I figure that the guys building the bikes know what's good...)

The picture doesn't do justice to the paint work: SID Blue powdercoat. Very vibrant. Sigh. It was a nice bike.

Greg,

Sorry...I forgot. That STILL sucks. Keep at the insurance company. It's no different than if the chowder-head wrecked your car. ...Only worse....
