|I am overweight office commuter (25 miles per day roundtrip)looking to lose weight but still have energy. Any ideas for good breakfasts or Lunches and a before returning home snack ?|

|I need all the energy i can get to keep on pedalling. A nice quarter pounder burger with some fries does it for me. For kicks, i then drink 2 cups of water. Yes i know it goes against convention, but after experimenting, this is the combination that gives me the energy to complete the ride.|

i dig the cytomax so i have just toast with jam or honey and fruit before riding. hard to beat banana's

|For breakfast I have a blend of two cereals that are mostly wheat and flax, non-sugared, with sliced banana and unsalted peanuts (important protein component) with non-fat milk and a glass of fruit juice.
For lunch I'd suggest a lean sandwich of lunch meat or tuna, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and just enough lite mayo or mustard to make it palatable. Serve with a serving of fruit or vegetable.
Snack on fruit, vegetable, bagel, or a couple fig newtons, and don't go over 100 calories on this snack.
And drink enough water to remain hydrated!

|I usually have maybe a bagel w/ pb or butter (just a little) and a glass of soy protein shake, with a cup of coffee. If I'm in a hurry, mix the soy w/ OJ or another fruit juice. Lots of calories to sustain me and digest quickly.|| |
