imagine a hill with 190 ft. of elevation change in 0.19 miles at an average grade of 18% and max %24!

i've only done it twice and it about kills me everytime at the end of my ride. apparently it is one of the steepest paved roads in ohio.

ill post a picture later. heres a link:

Picture almost the same hill that goes on for 2 miles; part of the Climb to Kaiser 155 mile ride near Fresno.

i guess fortunately that hills in S.East Ohio are not nearly
as burly as the one you describe. i can only imagine the shear amount of awe (or pain) one would have after climbing something like that.

to do that one on the CFC ride last year. We did do a hard one on the way out of town, but I don't think that it was this one. It was a bit longer and had more switchbacks in it. Plus it was right at the beginning of the ride.

I knew that we'd have to do a hard one right out of the gate to get out of town.
