|More weird animal sightings:
Commuting in this morning on the George Washington Parkway bike trail, cruising along right next to the Potomac river, I nearly ran over a big ol' crawdaddy (i.e., crayfish, for those of you in northern climes) that was skittering along the trail. He (somehow, I can't think of lobsters as being feminine) was waving his claws in the air and looking really pissed off. This thing was a good 6 or 7 inches long. Cool.
For those of you keeping score at home, you can now add small, ill-tempered lobsters to the list of creatures (giant snakes, angry snapping turtles, manic bunny rabbits, and confused geese) that we Virginians have to weed our way through to get to work in the morning...
