From Cyclingnews....

Laurent Jalabert (CSC-Tiscali) was unable to start in the Route du Sud on Saturday due to a groin injury. "Unfortunately, Jalabert was unable to start," said DS Johnny Weltz. "He is now undergoing treatment with penicillin and, hopefully, he will be able to resume training at the beginning of next week. I do not think that there is no any reason to panic in relation to his participation in the Tour de France."

In Jim Bouton's book, Ball Four, he tells the story of having to fill out a questionaire sent to all the players by the League office.

One of the questions: "What's the toughest thing about being a Major League Baseball Player?"

One of the players responded "Explaining to your wife why she needs a penicillin shot for your bladder infection."
